ToxiUI Patch 6.5.1
Patch 6.5.1 To End The Year

Patch 6.5.1

The end of the year is here! And to finish it with a high note, ToxiUI's patch 6.5.1 is out! We've got a single breaking change, which shouldn't really impact anyone, bunch of new features, some profile updates and other miscellaneous stuff. Let's go!

Breaking changes

We have removed the ToxiUI Blizzard Fonts feature. There was nothing wrong with it, it's just that it's now completely unnecessary due to ElvUI's 13.48 patch where they introduced the exact same thing.

New features

Buckle up, because we have some exciting news for ActionBars lovers :D First new feature is the Styles tab in ToxiUI. Currently it has only two tabs so far: ActionBars and UnitFrames. The UnitFrames tab you might recognize from the installer, where we had users choose between Old style and New style layouts. Well, that is no longer in the installer and rather in the ToxiUI settings. The ActionBars style on the other hand is a completely new addition. Initially it was designed for Classic Era only, but later I've decided to open up this for all ToxiUI users. Now you can enable a special ActionBars style where they're no longer hidden and instead in the middle between UnitFrames, meant to replace WeakAuras.

Classic ActionBars Style

Since our disabling of VehicleBar (it's still available) we didn't really have an alternative for dragonriding or overall vehicle quests. Well, we have a short solution for that now, which is still not ideal and does not really work with Priest's mind control, but hey - better than nothing. ActionBars should now be visible if they're mouseover only and a player is inside a vehicle or dragon riding. Yay!

Next, there's a new Text Tag for Smart Power to display mana in full value. This tag is enabled by default for Classic Era's Classic ActionBars style (that's definitely not confusing lol). Mana amounts aren't as high in Classic Era so it makes more sense to show the raw mana value instead of percentage. All the available tags can be found in ElvUI settings.

Finally, we've added a bunch of frames to the Additional Scaling module. Now you can scale frames such as the Vendor frame, Gossip frame, Mailbox frame and several others. Hooray for poor eyesight!

Profile updates

There's nothing major in the profile updates: we've updated WunderBar's default shown currencies for Dragonflight, updated the Totem bar for Wrath, enabled Target UnitFrame Range Fader for Healer layout, once more improved Healer layout's Party frames, added the new Hearthstone of the Flame to the WunderBar and finally updated the Armory's item level coloring (which we should've done when 10.2 released..)

Settings refactoring

There are a couple of documentational changes too, but I didn't feel like they're worth mentioning here. I will mention though a settings refactoring! The Miscellaneous -> Other tab has now been moved to Skins -> ElvUI. This change is also mentioned in our FAQ page as to not cause confusion!

Updating ToxiUI

Generally, we do not provide support for editing ToxiUI, but if you still want to edit it and not lose your settings, there are a couple approaches to that. Click on the button below to find out more!
