Patch 6.4.6

It seems like forever since last ToxiUI update had released but it's only been 4 days. Oh well, we already have some changes we want to push to the live version! To start off, the best update ever, is that Toxi has got himself a new mechanical keyboard and oh boy, after a couple hours of using it, recommend it to everyone. It's life changing.

Anyways, let's hop back to the actually relevant news. We have a new feature, a couple minor bug fixes and then a bunch of profile updates for ToxiUI, ElvUI and even Plater this time!

New features

This one's pretty neat. We have created a new text tag for ToxiUI - Smart Power. How is it smart you ask? Well, Smart Power tags change color! Unbelievable, I know. Whenever the unit's mana gets below 50, the smart power tag changes to a yellow (Rogue gradient) color and when it gets below 20 it changes to a red (Death Knight gradient). This feature currently is enabled for mana only because I don't see a reason for other power types, but I challenge you to prove me wrong! Also, it doesn't work in Dark mode, since Dark mode has it's own gradient texts based on class. I'm not 100% sure on this, feel free to leave feedback on our Discord!

Bug fixes

Moving on to bug fixes, Toxi has finally reached level 10 on his Wrath of the Lich King Druid and noticed that Teleport: Moonglade is not available in the WunderBar Hearthstone module. Well, that has been fixed now!

Nalar had also reported that the new Raid Assist icons don't show up when you select the Material style. Instantly my mind went to "fuck, I forgot to actually make an icon" but I was wrong! The icon was there in the code. I just had to add one line of code that actually points it to the correct file. Oops. Thanks, Nalar!

Profile updates

Now for the exciting part! Or well I guess the Smart Power feature was also exciting. Eh.

A couple patches back (for the love of god can't find which) we have added Stylized Role Icons for DPS, Tank & Healers. Those were disabled by default because I was still not happy with the result. Well, that changes today! We have updated the icons and enabled them by default. Hope you enjoy the new look on your Party & Raid frames. If you prefer the old icons, you can change them in ToxiUI Skins settings.

Next is a very minor update, but it had to be made for consistency sake. Target UnitFrame's Buffs & Debuffs have changed positions to keep it the same as the Player UnitFrame.

Let's go back to the Smart Power tags for a second. Obviously, they are now being used by default. On top of that, we have added a Power text tag to Party UnitFrames & the Focus UnitFrame. And speaking of the Focus UnitFrame, it's Power bar has changed position to match the Target UnitFrame. One last thing for Power (this patch seems very powerful, hek hek hek) we have enabled the auto-hide feature for Target & Focus frames. Now I am ashamed to admit, I did not know this feature even existed in ElvUI. Better late than never.

Focus & Party power text

For the last ElvUI updates, we have updated some fonts outlines to use the new Shadow Outline and also changed the ElvUI options backdrop fade to 40% opacity. Previously it was at 80%. Transparent frames, so fancy.

Finally, we have also made some slight tweaks to our Plater profile! Do you spend time at training dummies? Do you also hate those fucking pink nameplates? Welp, those are gone, finally. I can't believe it took me 2 years to make this change, but it's here. Also, to follow our recent rectangular updates, we have changed the Plater auras icons to be 4:3 ratio and also update the stacks font to match rest of UI. And that is all folks!

Updating ToxiUI

Generally, we do not provide support for editing ToxiUI, but if you still want to edit it and not lose your settings, there are a couple approaches to that. Click on the button below to find out more!
